Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha and Micros
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for billing and change
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards according to health regulations
- Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth operations
- Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or private parties, including catering arrangements
- Uphold responsible serving practices, including checking IDs and adhering to alcohol service laws
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service when necessary, ensuring seamless customer service in both bar and dining areas
- Handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during busy nightclubs or restaurant shifts while maintaining excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions; retail math knowledge is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous experience in brewing or food industry is a plus
- Experience in serving food and beverages in a fast-paced environment such as nightclubs or catering events is desirable
