Homestead Gardens is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Sales Representative to join our Commercial and Residential Landscape Division. This role focuses on developing and selling landscape maintenance plans for residential and commercial properties, working closely with clients to ensure their landscapes remain healthy, attractive, and well maintained year-round.
This position is ideal for someone with green industry experience who enjoys meeting with clients, evaluating properties, and creating customized landscape maintenance programs that meet each customer’s needs and budget.
You will work with incoming leads, existing customers, and referrals to develop maintenance plans and coordinate services with our landscape operations team.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with residential and commercial clients to evaluate properties and discuss landscape maintenance needs
- Conduct site visits and property inspections to assess plant health, landscape conditions, and service requirements
- Develop and present customized landscape maintenance plans and service proposals
- Prepare accurate estimates, quotes, and maintenance contracts using company estimating systems
- Coordinate with landscape operations teams to ensure maintenance services are delivered successfully
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide follow-up to ensure satisfaction
- Monitor site conditions and recommend adjustments or additional services when needed
- Maintain accurate records of proposals, contracts, and customer communications
- Stay current on horticulture best practices, plant care, and landscape maintenance techniques
- Participate in Landscape Division team meetings and collaborate with colleagues
Work Environment:
This role combines office work and onsite property visits to residential and commercial landscapes. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in all seasons. Physical requirements include standing, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture, or green industry sales
- Experience developing landscape maintenance plans or service proposals
- Strong plant and horticulture knowledge
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Ability to evaluate landscapes and recommend appropriate maintenance services
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with computers and estimating software
- Valid driver’s license
- Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, landscape management, or related field preferred
- Professional horticulture certifications such as CPH are a plus

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
