We handle all phases of title production and are seeking a motivated, experienced, and results-oriented mid-level manager to oversee the smooth operation of our regional settlement offices.
Position Overview
As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for managing a group of settlement offices in the South-Central Pennsylvania geographic area. The position entails developing, training, and retaining effective teams to meet objectives for customer service, profitability, and growth. This includes working with executive management to create and carry out programs, policies, and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a positive and motivated office environment through good communications, strong staff relationships, and office events and programs. Minimize and effectively resolve staff conflicts or complaints, with the aid of human resources if needed.
- Implement and manage programs to meet or exceed operating objectives, including profitability, office budget, revenue and transaction volumes, core services utilization, space utilization, and other key operating metrics as defined by executive management
- Coordinate with other department managers to develop and implement new strategies for optimizing departmental workflows, increasing efficiency, and ensuring a high-quality service
- Report directly to senior management and provide regular updates on operational performance, challenges, and improvements
- Participate in the annual budget preparation process with Executive Management
- Prepare and review settlement reports such as Losses, Open Checks, and Success Rates
Daily Duties
- Assist Settlement Officers, agents, lenders, and consumers with problems as requested
- Review and approve payroll for direct reports
- Address monthly accounting reports by having trial balances and outstanding checks cleared
- Assist with resolving file issues that may arise from underwriter audits
- Help plan for backup or overflow requirements needed by the settlement officers
- Conduct and/or supervise hiring, firing, employee reviews, staff meetings, and trainings
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in title agency operations or a related industry, with a strong understanding of all phases of title production and settlement processes
- Previous leadership or management experience with the ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple project simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across teams and with clients
- High level of attention to detail, ensuring compliance with all regulations and industry best practices
- Proficiency in title production software and related tools
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume title agency environment preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field preferred
