- Production and Quality: Supervise daily production activities to meet targets and deadlines, while monitoring product quality and implementing quality control measures.
- Team Management: Lead, train, and coach the production staff; delegate work assignments; and manage performance during the shift.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the shift, and work with maintenance for equipment upkeep.
- Administration: Complete production reports, maintain logs, and handle necessary paperwork.
- Coordination: Communicate with other supervisors and managers, and liaise with other departments like quality assurance and logistics.
