The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Production Supervisor to lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Schedule:
12-hour shifts (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM) This position works 12-hour overnight shifts on a rotating schedule of 3 nights on / 4 nights off.
Rotating schedule: 3 Nights on / 4 Nights off
You’ll supervise approximately 15 hourly associates, including Operators, QC Inspectors, and Packaging Specialists, ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Do
Lead daily production activities to meet customer demand and operational goals
Champion safety, quality, and efficiency across all shifts
Coach, mentor, and develop associates to drive engagement and performance
Reduce waste and control costs without compromising food safety or quality
Communicate expectations clearly and recognize strong performance
Ensure compliance with safety programs through audits, meetings, and training
Coordinate equipment maintenance and recommend process improvements
Maintain accurate production records and report performance metrics
Identify staffing needs and support labor planning (temporary or permanent)
Participate in internal and external audits and inspections
Stay current on manufacturing technologies and best practices
Approve employee time and payroll entries
Support plant objectives as directed by the Production Manager
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (college degree preferred)
3 years of supervisory or people-leadership experience
5 years in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable
Proven follow-through, consistency, and attention to detail
Comfort working cross-functionally with all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in food, bakery, bread, or pastry manufacturing
Exposure to continuous improvement / lean manufacturing principles
Working knowledge of SAP
