As a Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will join a collaborative and evolving unit focused on pre-procedural cardiac care. You’ll work alongside experienced nurses and clinical staff who prioritize teamwork, adaptability, and patient-centered care. In this Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse position, you will play a key role in preparing patients for upcoming cardiac procedures and ensuring they are clinically ready. Responsibilities
This position offers a competitive pay of $32.34-$43.66/hour based on experience, as well shift differential and a $20K sign-on bonus. Responsibilities
- Provide care for medical-surgical patients, including telemetry monitoring as needed
- Prepare patients for procedures, including cardiac catheterizations
- Perform thorough patient assessments and implement appropriate care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the care team
- Ensure patients are properly prepared and ready for scheduled procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient flow and care coordination
- Accurately document patient care in a timely manner
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards
- Current North Carolina RN license or active multistate (compact) license required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but not required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred
- Medical-surgical nursing experience required
- Telemetry experience preferred, but not required
- 12-hour shifts
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 3 shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
