In this role, you’ll collaborate with an experienced interdisciplinary team, providing direct care in a high-acuity setting. You’ll be responsible for rapid patient assessments, sound clinical decision-making, and coordinating timely, effective treatment—making a meaningful impact on every patient you serve.
Responsibilities
This position offers a night shift, 12-hour schedule within a 6-week scheduling cycle, with weekend commitments guided by self-scheduling and an alternating holiday rotation.

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments and quickly identify urgent care needs
- Initiate and manage nursing interventions in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with scope of practice
- Continuously monitor, document, and evaluate patient status and response to care
- Respond effectively to critical situations, including cardiac, stroke, and trauma cases
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, timely care
- Provide clear, compassionate education and support to patients and families during high-stress situations
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (or compact license, if applicable)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current BLS certification required
