Job Summary
Homeland has partnered with a leading regional medical center to hire a Registered Nurse (RN), Cath Lab. This well-established acute care hospital is recognized for its advanced cardiovascular program, modern technology, and strong commitment to high-quality patient care across the community.
The Registered Nurse (RN), Cath Lab will play a vital role in delivering safe, compassionate care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures, while working closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal Registered Nurse (RN), Cath Lab is clinically skilled, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative setting focused on exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments to identify individualized care needs
- Initiate and implement appropriate nursing interventions based on patient condition
- Deliver age-appropriate, high-quality care throughout all phases of treatment
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation to support medical necessity and regulatory compliance
- Develop, implement, and update Interdisciplinary Care Plans for each patient
- Complete quality improvement (QI) assessments accurately and within required timeframes
- Support procedural workflows while ensuring patient safety before, during, and after interventions
Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), preferred, not required
- ACLS and PALS certifications to be obtained within six months of hire
- At least one (1) year of nursing experience, preferred
- One to three (1–3) years of recent experience in critical care or Cath Lab, strongly preferred
Additional Information
Full-time, day shift position with 12-hour shifts, including on-call responsibilities and a rotating schedule requiring every 5th weekend.
