This position offers a competitive salary of $112,000-145,000/year, depending on experience. Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direct management of IT/Informatics staff responsible for application support, maintenance, and operations
- Guide the development of project requests and business plans for presentation to senior leadership
- Assist in preparing department budgets and business plans; ensure compliance through ongoing review of financial and capital reports
- Serve as the primary liaison between facilities and IT, acting as a customer advocate
- Develop long- and short-term plans for application selection, software development, system maintenance, production activities, and required support resources
- Prepare cost estimates for current and proposed projects, including staffing and equipment needs
- Oversee vendor coordination for hardware, software, and technical services, ensuring alignment with technical, security, and privacy requirements
- Manage departmental personnel, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance development; provide guidance on policies, procedures, priorities, and technical problem-solving
- Ensure staff compliance with corporate and IT/Informatics policies, standards, and methodologies
- Produce activity and progress reports for application systems analysis and programming
- Build and maintain strong communication and working relationships with leadership and departmental stakeholders
- Travel locally as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field required
- Equivalent work experience or certifications may be considered
- Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible IT experience required
- Supervisory and IT project management experience required
- Healthcare IT experience preferred
- Valid Tennessee Class D driver’s license with state-required minimum insurance coverage
- Driving record must meet the company’s standards at hire and throughout employment
