What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Engineer position at Homekey?
At Homekey, we are changing how homes are bought, sold, and lived in.
We are fundamentally rewiring the economics of a trillion-dollar market using AI agents. To achieve this, we are building an AI-native platform that encompasses the full lifecycle of a real estate transaction: property valuation, auction and matching, conversational search, workflow management, documentation, and a voice-based copilot.

The role:
We’re looking for a Product Engineer who has strong product intuition and end-to-end ownership.
In this role, you will
- Own and ship core product features: You will take high-level product goals, prototype the solution, refine the UX, and push it to production.
- Drive technical architecture: You will influence product roadmap and help define our technical vision as we scale.
- Interface with complex AI architecture: You will help architect and implement the AI system that drives our platform.
- Ship career-defining work: You will build foundational systems from scratch, leaving your fingerprints on a product that fundamentally changes a massive industry.
Our current tech stack:
React, TypeScript, Flask, Redis, MongoDB, AWS, LangChain, React Native, Expo, MCP, A2A Protocol
Who you are:
- You have a high bar for UX and a low tolerance for user friction
- You have strong opinions about product UX and system design, and can defend them.
- You have built end-to-end features spanning frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- You have experience scaling a product and the architectural bottleneck.
- You are located within a commutable distance to Palo Alto, CA.
