Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Property and Merchandise Claims Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage property and merchandise damage claims from start to finish, ensuring accurate documentation, verification, processing and resolution all in an timely and orderly manner. Your expertise will help streamline claims handling, improve customer satisfaction, and uphold our high standards of service quality.
Responsibilities
- Review and process property insurance claims with precision and attention to detail
- Collect and organize all relevant delivery documentation, records, and supporting evidence
- Conduct thorough filing of claims documentation to ensure easy retrieval and compliance
- Collaborate with repair and remediation professionals and insurance adjusters to clarify claim details.
- Keep our contract carrier business partners involved and informed throughout the claim management and resolution process.
- Maintain organized records of all claims activities.
Experience
- Clerical experience with strong organizational skills for managing large volumes of documentation
- Familiarity with claim verification and investigative processes.
- Experience working with retail sales records, insurance documentation, and property claim documentation standards.
- Proficiency with all of Microsoft 365 software applications
- Proficiency in tracking and communicating about claims and payments
- Prior experience in a similar role is strongly preferred.
