Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a delicious breakfast buffet, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction from the moment they arrive. Your energetic approach will help set the tone for a positive start to every guest’s day, making their stay memorable and enjoyable.

Duties

• Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly stocked throughout service.
• Assist with food preparation, including slicing, assembling, and plating dishes with precision and care.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, buffet stations, kitchen equipment, and storage spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
• Serve guests with friendly and attentive customer service, addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for billing and transactions; handle cash handling accurately.
• Clear tables, bussing dishes efficiently to keep the dining area tidy and welcoming.
• Support catering or banquet events as needed, assisting with meal setup and breakdown.
• Follow all food handling and safety protocols to ensure guest health and safety are prioritized at all times.
• Assist delivery drivers with receiving supplies or delivering food items when required.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy mornings.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/host, server, or catering assistant is preferred.
• Kitchen experience including food preparation, cooking, knife skills, meat cutting, or culinary experience is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; cashiering experience is a plus.
• Experience working in hotel or restaurant environments enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest services.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential.
• Banquet or catering experience demonstrates your ability to manage large groups efficiently.
• Customer service skills combined with excellent communication skills will help you build positive guest relations.

Pay: $15.15 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
