Duties
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly stocked throughout service.
- Assist with food preparation, including slicing, assembling, and plating dishes with precision and care.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, buffet stations, kitchen equipment, and storage spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
- Serve guests with friendly and attentive customer service, addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for billing and transactions; handle cash handling accurately.
- Clear tables, bussing dishes efficiently to keep the dining area tidy and welcoming.
- Support catering or banquet events as needed, assisting with meal setup and breakdown.
- Follow all food handling and safety protocols to ensure guest health and safety are prioritized at all times.
- Assist delivery drivers with receiving supplies or delivering food items when required.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy mornings.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/host, server, or catering assistant is preferred.
- Kitchen experience including food preparation, cooking, knife skills, meat cutting, or culinary experience is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; cashiering experience is a plus.
- Experience working in hotel or restaurant environments enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest services.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential.
- Banquet or catering experience demonstrates your ability to manage large groups efficiently.
- Customer service skills combined with excellent communication skills will help you build positive guest relations.

Pay: $15.15 - $15.50 per hour
