Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of overnight rental spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure a spotless environment.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures adhering to health and safety standards, including the proper use of cleaning detergents and equipment.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
• Clean floors using appropriate methods such as sweeping, mopping, or carpet cleaning to maintain floor care standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of surfaces, appliances, bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor areas as required.
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and effectively.
• Utilize janitorial tools and cleaning equipment properly to maximize efficiency and safety during each shift.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Follow detailed cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are serviced thoroughly within designated timeframes.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and detergents, ensuring proper storage and usage.

Experience

• Previous experience in hotel cleaning is highly desirable, with a strong background in janitorial or custodial roles.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, tile scrubbing, and outdoor surface maintenance.
• Proven ability to implement cleaning procedures that meet sanitation standards while respecting client preferences.
• Experience handling various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, buffers, and pressure washers.
• Demonstrated skill in time management to complete tasks efficiently without compromising quality.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work with stamina and safety awareness.
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration in housekeeping management roles.

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
