Start Pay is $14.00/hour - Up to a dollar raise will be given after 90-day evaluation based on performance, attendance, and attitude towards job.

For some traveling and being away from home is fun; however, some travelers miss being home. Our housekeeping team makes our hotel feel like home - it’s in our name, Home2 Suites! As a Room Attendant your contribution helps ensure guests an enjoyable and comfortable stay in their home away from home.

As a Room Attendant/Housekeeper, you will:

• Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum to ensure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and leave the bathroom sparkling and spotless.
• Restock all guest room supplies (i.e. body wash, shampoo, coffee, etc.)
• Organize your linen closet, restock your cart, and get ready for the next day at the end of each shift, each day.
• Greet, acknowledge, and welcome guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile according to company service standards.
• Stock cart with appropriate supplies and transport cart to assigned section.
• Enter assigned occupied guest rooms by following established procedure for gaining access as well as ensuring vacancy.
• Replace used linens and towels.
• Dust, polish, and straighten desk and furnishings.
• Ensure all light fixtures and in-room appliances are in proper working conditions.
• Remove trash, recyclables, and discarded items from room(s).
• Vacuum Carpets and/or mop floors.
• Follow all company safety and security policies/procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues and safety hazards.
• Anticipate and follow through on guests’ service needs.
• Support other departments and fellow Housekeeping staff members.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and other duties as needed and as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
• Perform any task assigned by your direct supervisor and/or General Manager.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you need to have basic English communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 50lbs. You must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
