Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Agent specializing in weekend shifts! This energetic role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive on delivering exceptional guest experiences and excel in fast-paced environments. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will create a welcoming atmosphere, handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and ensure every guest feels valued and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality management skills while working weekends in a vibrant hotel setting.
We are currently seeking two candidates: 1 opening for Friday & Saturday 3pm-11pm and 1 opening for Saturday & Sunday from 7am-3pm. Both of these positions could come with the potential of some week day/night shifts based upon scheduling needs. Availability to work an rare 11pm-7am shift is a huge plus for any candidate.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures using hotel management software
- Manage guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Handle multi-line phone systems to answer reservations, inquiries, and provide information about hotel amenities
- Maintain accurate records of guest stays, reservations, and billing details, including night audit procedures when necessary
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards
- Provide exceptional guest services by offering local recommendations, directions, and assistance throughout their stay
- Uphold phone etiquette standards and ensure clear communication with guests and team members at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within hotels or resorts
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities to serve diverse guest populations effectively
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems
- Ability to manage guest relations with professionalism and tact during busy periods
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and hotel operations is a plus
- Experience working in a resort environment or similar hospitality setting is preferred
