Overview
A warm, hands-on Princeton, NJ family is looking for an experienced, playful, and proactive nanny for their two boys, ages 5 months and 2.5 years. Your main focus will be the infant. The toddler goes to nursery school from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, naps in the early afternoon, and then joins you for afternoon play. The family wants a self-starter who confidently runs the children’s day and anticipates their needs. Mom is very involved in the children’s routines, so you should be comfortable working closely with a hands-on parent. The family travels to Europe in the summer, so flexibility and a willingness to travel are important. This is a long-term role.

Responsibilities:
- Provide full, hands-on infant care: feeding, diapering, naps, and soothing
- Support age-appropriate developmental milestones for both children
- Care for the toddler in the afternoons with play and daily routines
- Keep consistent schedules and plan engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Work closely with a hands-on parent on the children’s daily routines
- Manage a child’s food allergy carefully
- Handle occasional light driving
- Keep the children’s spaces, laundry, and bottles tidy
- Travel with the family to Europe during the summer
Requirements:
- Previous professional nanny experience is a must
- Strong experience caring for infants and toddlers
- Knowledge of infant development and age-appropriate milestones
- Warm, energetic, proactive, and organized; able to work independently
- Collaborative and comfortable working alongside a hands-on parent
- Flexibility to travel with the family to Europe during the summer
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
