Responsibilities
- Complete residential maintenance work orders in occupied and vacant properties.
- Diagnose and repair common maintenance issues, including:
- Plumbing repairs (faucets, toilets, disposals, leaks)
- Electrical repairs (switches, outlets, fixtures)
- Drywall repair and painting
- Doors, locks, windows, and trim
- Flooring and general carpentry
- Appliance installation and repairs
- Minor HVAC troubleshooting and filter replacement
- Conduct preventative maintenance and property inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work using company software.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, vendors, and office staff.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
- Identify repairs requiring outside vendors and communicate recommendations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of residential maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple work orders.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- On-call monitoring for emergency maintenance needs after-hours (evenings, weekends, holidays).
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
