Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation of all rooms and surfaces
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene standards and ensure safety compliance
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners efficiently and safely
• Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
• Handle manual lifting of furniture, appliances, or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including patios or entryways
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide personalized housekeeping services
• Use appropriate cleaning detergents and supplies while adhering to safety guidelines and environmental standards
• Manage time efficiently to complete daily tasks within scheduled periods without compromising quality
• Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly

Experience

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of janitorial practices
• Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including floor cleaning, dusting, surface sanitation, and carpet care
• Experience operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and laundry machines
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols for manual handling and heavy lifting
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas when needed
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple tasks in fast-paced environments

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
