Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface cleaning to maintain spotless living spaces.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met consistently.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care.
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and applying appropriate floor cleaning techniques.
- Use cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Manage outdoor work responsibilities including patio or porch cleaning as needed.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding specific cleaning requests or concerns, ensuring their satisfaction at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial or custodial roles preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete duties within scheduled timeframes.
- Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
- Customer service orientation with effective communication skills for client interaction.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and disinfectants along with proper handling procedures.
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervising team members is a plus.
