POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lead Installer role means belonging to a great team. Lead Installer performs residential construction activities for customer projects of various sizes. The Lead Installer performs leadership responsibilities on the jobsite. The Lead Installer will represent Home Solutions Midwest for all installation related items. Customer satisfaction, and an inclusive team environment is the ultimate goal.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Acts as lead contact at jobsite in directing the actions necessary to complete installation jobs from start to finish
- Demonstrates competency and confidence necessary to complete all installation duties
- Installation of products to manufacturer specs and building code requirements
- Accepts and inspects material and product prior to job start
- Takes part in and leads safety
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Ensures the expectations of the client are being met throughout the project
- Responsible for the quality of installation
- Apply interior and exterior finish work
- Educate homeowners operation of newly installed products
- Complete installation, safety, and other required trainings
- Maintain company vehicle and tools
- Promotes a positive team environment
- Provides Signature Service to all customers
- Demonstrates self-leadership and personal accountability
- Builds and sustains a positive relationship with coworkers and customers
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty independently and satisfactorily. Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written form and interface with all departments. Must maintain absolute confidentiality. Must be able to multi-task, be accurate, have good organizational skills and handle high levels of stress. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Trade school diploma/certification desired
- Five years general carpentry experience desired
- One to Three years’ experience in a lead role or leadership position
- Valid driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain a medical card
- Ability to work at heights on ladders, planks, roofs, etc.
- Must possess attention to detail
- Hold high standard of integrity
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Constantly positions self to remove/install products at various levels
- Ascend/Descend ladders or other various equipment to work at heights
- Lifting equipment or products up to 75lbs
- Frequent work performed while standing
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel
- Operating power tools
- Exposure to elements outdoors
- Potential for animal exposure (cats/dogs/bees etc.)

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
