POSITION SUMMARY:
The Installation Project Manager (IPM) is responsible for overseeing the entire window and door installation process, ensuring each project is measured accurately, prepared thoroughly, and executed efficiently. This role is vital in bridging the gap between sales, operations, and the installation crews, while delivering seamless and professional experience to our customers. The right candidate is solution-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Accurately measure and assess job sites for installation of windows and doors using proper measuring techniques.
- Confirm the scope of work aligns with sales contract details and customer expectations.
- Provide clear and effective installation solutions, adapting production specifications to meet real-world site conditions.
- Determine labor needs and material requirements to ensure timely, cost-effective installations.
- Communicate critical job details and special considerations to installers ahead of scheduled work.
- Troubleshoot installation-day issues and provide field support when needed.
- Approve changes to labor or material requirements as necessary to complete installations successfully.
- Provide timely and complete job files, ensuring internal teams are equipped with accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Coordinate with sales representatives on job holds, pre-sale site visits, and customer specific concerns.
- Ensure all installations comply with building codes, EPA lead-safe requirements (when applicable), and company quality standards.
- Work directly with customers to address and resolve installation-related concerns or changes.
REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty independently and satisfactorily. Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written form and interface with all departments. Must maintain professional and execute Renewal by Andersen Brand requirements. Must be able to multi-task, be accurate, have good organizational skills and handle high levels of stress. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proficiency in computer systems and ability to use digital tools for documentation and measurement recording.
- Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to providing excellent service.
- Strong time and project management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and positioning oneself at various levels to take precise measurements.
- Regularly ascending/descending ladders or using equipment to work at elevated heights.
- Work performed primarily while standing for extended periods.
- Exposure to outdoor elements, including varying weather conditions.
- Potential encounters with household pets (cats, dogs) and other environmental factors (e.g., bees, insects).
