Deck Sales Representative
Home Perfect Exteriors is seeking a motivated and driven Deck Sales Representative to join our growing team. HPE Deck Sales Representatives generate new customer contracts through networking, canvassing, referrals, inspections, and in-home consultations for deck replacement and outdoor living projects, including premium composite deck systems. Representatives serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project while delivering a 5-star customer experience from start to finish.
Business Development & Lead Generation
Deck Sales Representatives are expected to actively generate new business opportunities through:
- Canvassing neighborhoods and targeted territories
- Networking and referral generation
- Following up on company-provided leads
- Conducting in-home consultations and project estimates
- Educating homeowners on wood and composite deck options
- Building relationships with homeowners and community partners
Representatives should consistently work to maintain a strong sales pipeline and meet weekly sales goals.
Customer Experience
Deck Sales Representatives are expected to:
- Maintain professionalism in appearance and communication while representing HPE
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales and installation process
- Effectively communicate project scope, timelines, materials, and expectations
- Help customers select decking materials, including composite decking products and outdoor living upgrades
- Maintain regular communication with customers and document updates in company systems
- Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and strong problem-solving skills
HPE Processes & Expectations
Deck Sales Representatives will:
- Ensure all customer files contain accurate notes, measurements, photos, and signed documents
- Maintain organized calendars with appointments and follow-ups
- Utilize CRM systems to manage leads, sales activity, and customer communication
- Respond to company notifications and tasks promptly
- Submit weekly sales and pipeline reports by assigned deadlines
- Follow all HPE systems, processes, and company values
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, construction sales, or in-home sales preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Ability to build rapport and trust with homeowners
- Experience with CRM systems and sales technologies preferred
- Knowledge of composite decking products, outdoor living projects, or construction sales is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Compensation Package
- $1,000/week draw for the first 3 months
- Commission Based
- Uncapped earning potential
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Evenings and weekends as needed
- Full-time
