Responsibilities
As a Staff Accountant, your daily duties will include but may not be limited to:
- Prepare and enter standing journal entries.
- Perform General Ledger entries and analysis.
- Balance sheet reconciliation.
- Strong problem solving skills.
Requirements
The primary requirements of a Staff Accountant involve:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in accounting.
- 2 Years of related experience.
- Experience with fixed asset systems and depreciation schedules.
- Experience with business personal property tax listings and filings.
- Proficient or higher level of experience using Microsoft Excel required.
- Experience with Great Plains accounting software a plus but not required.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Working knowledge performing the duties to be performed in this position.
