This role is a critical contributor, partnering cross-functionally with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations to ensure best-in-class planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities.
What You’ll Own
Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules for preventive, predictive, and corrective work
- Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities to support production uptime
- Partner with Production Planning and Operations to optimize downtime scheduling
- Own and maintain CMMS (Megamation/D365) data integrity, reporting, and system utilization
- Analyze maintenance data to improve planning accuracy, scheduling efficiency, and asset reliability
- Track and drive PM completion rates, targeting 100% monthly completion
- Review PM work orders and equipment history to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Recommend enhancements to optimize equipment performance and labor utilization
- Support development and standardization of preventive maintenance best practices
- Plan maintenance work based on skill requirements, safety training, and resource availability
- Coordinate with inventory/parts teams to ensure availability of materials for scheduled work
- Provide accurate estimates for labor, parts, and external services
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, and corporate teams on maintenance initiatives and projects
- Coordinate with external vendors for inspections, calibrations, and contracted services
- Support reporting and KPI tracking to provide data-driven insights to leadership
- 4–6 years of experience with CMMS systems (Megamation, D365, or similar) in a manufacturing environment
- 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance or maintenance planning experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
- Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, and parts/inventory coordination
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excell, Project, etc.) and maintenance systems
- Experience in food or CPG manufacturing
- Familiarity with parts room operations and inventory processes
- Regular presence in production areas, including cold, wet, humid, and noisy environments.
- Ability to walk production floors, climb ladders and stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
- Off-shift and weekend work may be required to support breakdowns, shutdowns, or project execution.
