Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role based in Kernersville, NC. The Registered Nurse will oversee the care of clients, perform assessments, and coordinate care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Responsibilities include supervising caregivers, providing medical guidance, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, administering medications, and maintaining accurate client records. The RN will regularly collaborate with clients, families, and caregivers to provide comprehensive and compassionate in-home care that promotes client independence and quality of life.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina & possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and have a valid nursing license in the state in which he or she is working
- Strong clinical skills, including administering medications, developing care plans, and providing medical assessments
- Experience in supervising and training caregivers, with a focus on delivering personalized care
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with in-home care services, including working with individuals with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, or post-surgical needs
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to nursing
- A minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience is preferred
- CPR, OSHA, & First Aid certification are highly recommended
