Capital Raiser / Investor Relations Director
Job Summary
We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Capital Raiser / Investor Relations Director to drive equity capitalization for our real estate syndication projects and private investment funds. In this role, you will lead capital raising campaigns by converting inbound marketing leads while leveraging your own deep network of investors. Your primary mission is to expand our investor ecosystem, cultivate long-term investor relationships, and ensure our real estate offerings are consistently fully funded.
Key Responsibilities
- Network & Capital Deployment: Leverage an established, portable book of business and active networks—including family offices, local high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, and independent institutional capital sources—to actively raise equity for current and upcoming deals.
- Outbound Business Development: Proactively initiate outreach, pitch investment opportunities, and build strong strategic partnerships to continuously expand our investor base.
- Inbound Lead Conversion: Field and nurture incoming investor inquiries generated through marketing campaigns, webinars, and digital channels, educating prospective partners on our syndication and fund models.
- Capital Campaign Execution: Manage the end-to-end fundraising lifecycle for active deals, from initial pitch to soft commitments, investor verification, and final wire transfers.
- Investor Education & Consultation: Guide prospective investors through the structures, risk profiles, return metrics, and benefits of our offerings (e.g., Reg D 506(c) syndications and private funds).
- CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain flawless records of investor interactions, commitments, accreditation verifications, and capital allocations within the company CRM.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
- Must Have Proven Book of Business: Must possess an active, verifiable network or existing book of business across HNW/UHNW individuals, family offices, or institutional capital sources.
- Track Record: Demonstrated success in capital raising, equity placement, or investor relations within real estate syndications, private equity, or private investment funds.
- Good to Have Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of real estate investment structures, private placements (Reg D 506(b)/506(c)), and financial metrics (IRR, Equity Multiple, Cash-on-Cash).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to build trust rapidly with sophisticated investors.
