What are the responsibilities and job description for the Care Professional position at Home Instead?

Full time available immediately! Over nights 3-4 nights a week!
Care Professionals, spend ample amounts of one-on-one time with clients as they help them with daily living tasks such as cooking meals, light housekeeping, running errands, and taking them to appointments. They also assist with dressing, bathing, toileting, and incontinence care. Some Care Professionals support clients who are living with Alzheimer’s or other Dementias.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks
- Meal preparation
- Personal Care
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Alzheimer’s Car
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
- Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)
- Have reliable transportation to and from clients homes
- No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead*
