Home Instead is seeking an experienced and dependable Full-Time Caregiver to provide dedicated, one-on-one care for a client living with dementia in the Lansing area. This role is ideal for someone with a calm, patient, and soothing presence who enjoys keeping clients engaged through meaningful daily activities.

What You’ll Do

As a Home Instead Care Professional, you’ll provide personalized care that supports your client’s independence, safety, and quality of life.
Responsibilities include:

• Supporting personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Providing companionship and emotional support

• Redirection and reassurance for clients experiencing confusion or agitation

• Encouraging and assisting with activities, conversation, and gentle exercise

• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping and errands

• Promoting a safe, structured daily routine

• Working rotating weekends as part of your full-time schedule

What You’ll Bring

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience (dementia experience required)

• Ability to lift 25 lbs

• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance

• A calm, compassionate, and patient demeanor
