Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Assist clients with mobility and lifting as needed, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Prepare meals and assist with nutrition-related tasks according to dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health standards.
- Observe and report changes in clients' conditions or needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Support clients' rights and dignity while promoting independence.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is required.
- Strong understanding of resident rights and patient observation techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility tasks safely.
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Basic cooking skills and knowledge of nutrition are beneficial.
- Must speak fluent English.
- Ability to work independently while following established care plans.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of caregiving experience (home care or healthcare facility preferred).
- Current TB clearance and Home Care Aide (HCA) registration required.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance may be required, depending on client needs.
- Dependable, punctual, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
