Role Description
The Caregiver will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments. The role also involves providing emotional support, companionship, and ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Additionally, the Caregiver will assist clients managing Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other health concerns, while fostering a warm and respectful environment.
Qualifications
- Experience providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Basic household management skills such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and running errands.
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and ability to provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Ability to manage special care needs, including Alzheimer's, dementia, or chronic health conditions, with appropriate sensitivity.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals in a professional and supportive manner.
- Punctuality, reliability, and the ability to follow care plans and schedules accurately.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in caregiving or home health assistance are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Prior experience in caregiving or healthcare is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided.
