CNA in Silver Spring

Looking to staff a compassionate and reliable caregiver to start on May 2. The schedule is every Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The ideal candidate must be a pet lover, as family visits may include a dog and a cat, and must be able to drive.

Qualifications:
- Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current CNA license
- Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
- Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
- Engage the client in conversation and activities
