Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance. In this vital role, you will provide minimal assistance with getting dressed for dialysis, prepare meals, manage appointments, light housekeeping, and assist with grocery visits on occasion. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the client's life.
Duties
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to help residents maintain their independence.
- Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals.
- Prepare nutritious meals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to the client, fostering a positive environment.
- Maintain the cleanliness of living or care areas through regular cleaning tasks, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
- emergency situations, such as administering first aid or CPR when necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior or long-term care.
- Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration.
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare
- Experience in meal preparation
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 per week
