Job Description
We are looking for a caring hospice nurse to provide high-quality care to our patients who are nearing the end of their lives. In this position, you will be responsible for assessing patients' medical needs, ensuring their comfort during their final days, and offering support to their loved ones.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborating with physicians, social workers, chaplains, nursing assistants, and other team members to provide care for terminally ill patients
- Creating and adjusting personalized care plans for patients as needed
- Regularly visiting patients to monitor their vital signs and comfort levels
- Administering treatments and pain management medications as prescribed
- Updating physicians on any changes in patients' conditions
- Providing patients' loved ones and primary caregivers with information, education, and emotional support
- Maintaining accurate medical records and patient files
- Informing team members and family members when a patient passes away
- Offering guidance and resources to grieving family members
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN)
- Valid state licensure and registered nurse (RN) certification
- Preferred accreditation in hospice and palliative care
- At least 2 years of experience as a hospice nurse
- Proficiency in electronic patient and hospice management systems
- In-depth knowledge of monitoring and managing terminally ill patients' conditions and comfort
- Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
- Compassionate nature and the ability to handle emotional challenges
- Availability to work different shifts
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Travel nursing, PRN, Per diem
Pay: $43.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
