Duties
- Assist customers in selecting the right paints, finishes, and supplies based on their project needs and preferences
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for cash handling, order processing, and inventory management
- Upsell complementary products such as brushes, rollers, and related accessories to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and ensuring product availability for customers
- Create a visually appealing store through merchandising, organization and cleanliness.
- Support inside sales efforts through effective communication skills and account management with repeat clients
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales environments with a focus on high-end or specialty products
- Ability to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Hardware Skills a PLUS!!
- Ability to bend, lift and carry packages up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to move about our retail sales floor without assistance.
- Excellent organizational skills for merchandising, stock management, and maintaining a clean store environment
- Exceptional communication skills to educate customers about product benefits and project solutions
- Basic math skills for measurements, pricing calculations, and retail math tasks
