Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:
- Receive, process, and prepare prescription orders for pharmacist verification.
- Accurately count, package, label, and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision.
- Process prescription refills and maintain accurate patient records.
- Assist customers by answering general pharmacy questions, processing prescription pickups, and directing clinical questions to the pharmacist.
- Process insurance claims, resolve billing issues, and collect payments.
- Maintain medication inventory by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and ordering supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company pharmacy regulations, including proper handling of controlled substances.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy work environment.
- Operate pharmacy software, automated dispensing equipment, and other pharmacy technology.
- Communicate effectively with pharmacists, healthcare providers, and patients to support quality patient care.
- Protect patient confidentiality and maintain accurate documentation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations.

Qualifications:- Active Pharmacy Technician license required.
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work weekends as needed.
