As a Caregiver Trainee, You Will Attend a Full Week Of Hands-on, Instructor-led Training With An Experienced And Supportive Trainer. Training Includes
Caregivers Provide Non-medical, In-home Support To Seniors, Including
Next Training Class: January 19, 2025 – January 23, 2025
Location: Albuquerque and surrounding communities
Availability Requirements
- Must be available to work within the hours of 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week
As a Caregiver Trainee, You Will Attend a Full Week Of Hands-on, Instructor-led Training With An Experienced And Supportive Trainer. Training Includes
- HIPAA compliance
- Duties and expectations of a caregiver
- Cooking and meal preparation
- Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation (ANE) awareness
- Advance directives
- Skills lab and hands-on practice
- Fall prevention techniques
- Shadowing an experienced caregiver

- $15–$18/hour with a 6-month review and pay increase
- $175 bonuses every payday

Caregivers Provide Non-medical, In-home Support To Seniors, Including
- Personal care (bathing, hygiene, grooming, toileting)
- Meal preparation and special diets
- Mobility assistance and transfers
- Light housekeeping, errands, and transportation
- Companionship and emotional support
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Reliable vehicle with valid insurance and registration
- Strong communication skills
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Physical ability to assist with transfers up to 150 lbs. using assistive devices
