Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document patient observations, including changes in behavior or health status.
- Provide hospice care and support to clients and their families during end-of-life stages.
- Uphold resident rights by ensuring dignity, privacy, and respect in all interactions.
- Deliver senior care tailored to individual needs, including companionship and emotional support.
- Offer direct support to individuals with autism by implementing care plans that promote their well-being.
- Assist in monitoring vital signs as needed and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Provide specialized dementia care techniques to enhance the quality of life for clients experiencing cognitive decline.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of patient observation techniques and the ability to recognize changes in health status.
- Knowledge of hospice care practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with resident rights and the importance of maintaining client dignity.
- Experience in senior care or direct support roles is highly valued.
- Ability to develop and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Competence in monitoring vital signs and providing appropriate responses based on observations.
