We are seeking a motivated and skilled Residential Remodeler/Carpenter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming residential spaces through expert carpentry and remodeling techniques. You will work on a variety of projects, from minor repairs to full-scale renovations, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute remodeling projects.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install various wood and metal components using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines.
- Perform framing, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and rebar installation as needed for residential renovations.
- Install doors, siding, flooring, fixtures, trim carpentry elements, and other finishing touches with precision.
- Ensure power tool safety protocols are followed at all times during construction activities.
- Collaborate with team members to estimate project costs accurately and review construction plans for feasibility and accuracy.
- Handle heavy lifting safely while on active construction sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly handling construction materials like wood construction materials and metal studs.
- Assist in remodeling tasks that require handyman skills or specialized restoration industry experience.
- MUST SHOW UP TO WORK ON TIME EVERYDAY, BE ABLE TO WORK 8-10 Hours/Day and be TRUSTWORTHY AND RELIABLE.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential carpentry or remodeling with a strong background in construction.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools for woodworking including drills, saws, sanders.
- Experience working with drywall, caulking, siding installation, flooring installation, door hanging, and fixture installation.
- Knowledge of woodworking techniques and the operation of woodworking machines.
- Familiarity with metal stud framing and heavy lifting safety procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely.
- Construction site experience including safety compliance with power tool safety standards.
- Nice-to-have skills include plastering expertise, rebar installation knowledge, water damage restoration background, stucco application skills, electrical and plumbing skills, framing skills, a work ethic and hustle and experience as a handyman.
