We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret laboratory results.
- Administer medications, including injections, IV infusions, and other treatments as required.
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Manage acute pain and chronic conditions through appropriate treatment modalities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives as needed.
- Engage in telehealth services to expand access to care for patients.
- A valid drivers license as this is a mobile position
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner with an active state license.
- Experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine preferred.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Tebra
- Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and CPT coding for accurate medical documentation.
- Strong clinical skills in areas such as geriatrics, and acute care management.
- Experience with procedures including suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, phlebotomy
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including seniors, and individuals with developmental disabilities.
