Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner
Duties:
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, from newborns to elderly individuals
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, prevention, and wellness strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Manage chronic conditions and provide ongoing follow-up care
- Conduct physical examinations and order necessary laboratory tests
- Assist with minor procedures and wound care
Qualifications:
- Valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to provide evidence-based care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Knowledge of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) and utilization management preferred
- Experience in memory care, gastric lavage, airway management, neonatal ventilator, working with people with developmental disabilities, toddler care, utilization review, or similar areas is a plus
- Physical ability to lift and move patients when necessary
