WHAT IT'S LIKE
Congratulations! You've landed the exciting role of Hotel Laundry Attendant at Home 2 Suites Layton. You're responsible for collecting soiled linens from guest rooms or housekeeping attendants, ensuring that they are spotless and fresh for our guests. You use your keen eye for detail to remove any stains from the laundry and skillfully sort and wash the linens using our state-of-the-art machinery. Additionally, you demonstrate your exceptional organizational skills by neatly folding and stacking the linens.
Maintaining a clean and organized laundry room is a top priority, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order. You're also a team player, assisting housekeeping with inventory and loss control, and fostering excellent relationships with the housekeeping attendants, hotel laundry staff, and our valued guests. It's a blast working with so many awesome people, and you love coming into work each day!
ARE YOU A GOOD FIT?
The knowledge and skills required for this position are:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 25 lbs
- Knowledge of the proper use of cleaning products/chemicals
