We are currently seeking an Electrical Foreman! Electrical Foreman – Job DescriptionPosition Summary:The Electrical Foreman supervises and coordinates the activities of electricians and electrical apprentices on commercial, industrial, or utility projects. This role ensures all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & SupervisionDirect, supervise, and schedule electrical crews and subcontractors.Assign daily tasks and ensure crews understand scope and expectations.Train, mentor, and evaluate apprentices and journeymen.Maintain a productive and positive work environment.Project ExecutionInterpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans.Install, troubleshoot, and oversee electrical systems including conduit, wiring, switchgear, transformers, panels, lighting, and controls.Coordinate material orders, deliveries, and inventory to support project timelines.Ensure work is performed according to NEC, local codes, and company standards.Safety & ComplianceEnforce all safety policies, PPE requirements, and jobsite procedures.Conduct daily job briefings, safety talks, and hazard assessments.Identify and resolve safety hazards promptly.Project Management SupportWork closely with project managers, engineers, and general contractors.Provide daily progress updates, manpower reports, and work logs.Assist with planning, sequencing, and scheduling of project phases.Ensure QA/QC standards are met and perform inspections as needed.Problem SolvingIdentify conflicts in drawings or field conditions and recommend solutions.Troubleshoot equipment, circuits, and systems efficiently.Adjust workflow and manpower to meet deadlines and adapt to changes.QualificationsState of CT Journeyman Electrician license or Master Electrician licenseOSHA 10 or OSHA 305 years of field experience, with at least 1–3 years in a leadership or foreman role.Strong understanding of National Electrical Code.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Solid communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Experience with commercial, industrial, electrical systems.Valid driver’s license and ability to pass required background checks.Available to work any where in the State of ConnecticutPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.Work in outdoor environments, confined spaces, and elevated locations.Typical Work EnvironmentConstruction sites, industrial facilities, utility substations, power distribution sites, or commercial buildings.Full-time, often requiring overtime or weekend work based on project demands.
