The Curriculum Specialist will collaborate with administration, staff, families, and outside
resources, to provide an effective child development program for every child in mind.
This role will help design, review, plan, and implement classroom curricula to meet
program goals, adhere to state licensing, and to foster developmentally appropriate
standards that are cohesive with our center’s philosophy and mission.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure:
Location: Holzer Health System · Early Learning Childcare Center
Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, Varied

This role will help design, review, plan, and implement classroom curricula to meet
program goals, adhere to state licensing, and to foster developmentally appropriate
standards that are cohesive with our center’s philosophy and mission.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure:
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field.
- 3-5 years in the early childhood classroom setting (Leadership role preferred).
- Understanding of various early childhood curriculum frameworks (Creative Curriculum, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, etc.).
- Knowledge of early childhood developmental assessment tools.
- Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Must meet all requirements for employment in the Ohio licensed childcare center, including successful completion of background check requirements and active status in the Ohio Professional Registry (OPR).
