Position Summary 

The School of Business and Technology at Holy Family University is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor to teach BUSA 445: Strategic Management on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the Fall 2026 semester beginning on 8/31/2026 through 12/21/2026 at the Northeast Philadelphia Main Campus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and demonstrated expertise in strategic management concepts, and a passion for engaging and inspiring students.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Maintain academic excellence in the classroom.


• Conduct face to face classroom instruction following the University’s academic standards and guidelines.


• Facilitate active learning experiences and practical exercises to enhance student comprehension and application of technology concepts.


• Provide grades and feedback to students in a timely manner.


• Respond to email correspondence from Deans, Coordinators, and students in a timely manner.


• Use the Learning Management System (CANVAS) appropriately for all classes.


• Utilize advising software (CRM Advise) to identify student issues and alert support offices within the university in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree is required, Doctoral degree preferred.


• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, ethics, or closely related field is required 


• Prior teaching experience at a college or university is preferred. 


• Experience using statistics in a business environment is a plus.


• Familiarity with statistical tools and software (Excel, SPSS, JASP, etc.) is required.


• Ability to use a learning management system (Canvas) is a plus. 


• Other preferred attributes include a commitment to teaching a diverse student population, working collegially with peers, strong communication skills, responsiveness to students, ability to meet deadlines for grading and other student feedback.
