What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Financial Analyst position at Holy Cross Medical Center?
POSITION PURPOSE
The Senior Financial Analyst position is responsible for analyzing clinical and financial data and providing recommendations to management on how to improve the organization’s financial performance. Define and execute a wide variety of analytical projects, anticipate client needs, establish project scopes, identify data sources, translate data into professional deliverables, formulate business strategies and present recommendations to Senior Leaders.
MINIMUM MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Four (4) years of experience in accounting or finance that includes experience with computer systems, spreadsheet and database applications, data flow, report creation and data interpretation.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field. Four (4) years of related experience may be considered in lieu of the degree in addition to the experience stated above.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
Well-organized, efficient task management and attention to detail skills.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to interface with executive-level leaders across the organization.
Must have the ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining calm, flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate clinical needs into financial terms and explain results to a non-financial audience.
Excellent proficiency in computer software and applications associated with a business environment, including Microsoft Office (specifically, Excel and PowerPoint).
Strong commitment to high-quality deliverables, professional collaboration and skill development.
A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers.
