POSITION PURPOSE |

The Laboratory Assistant position is responsible for performing phlebotomy duties on inpatients and outpatients, including vein-puncture, capillary puncture and specimen processing. Manages specimen accessioning accurately and efficiently to provide quality specimens for laboratory testing. Responsible for performing clerical tasks to accommodate timely and accurate laboratory testing and support department operations. |
