POSITION PURPOSE
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the Human Resources (HR) department.
MINIMUM MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Health Care Management, Organizational Development, a related field, or at least 3 years’ experience working in Human Resources.
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Mandatory Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Qualifications:
- Must have a solid understanding of employee-related topics, including employee relations, and state and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Experience and strong understanding of HRIS and related processes.
- Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization.
- High level of customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations, provide guidance, and documentation.
- A record of satisfactory performance in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers.
