What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Application Support Analyst position at Holy Cross Medical Center?
The Clinical Application Support Analyst coordinates the development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of the EMR Evident as well as other clinical applications. This position serves as a clinical liaison between the Information Technology Department and clinical departments throughout Taos Health Systems for the coordination and implementation of clinical solutions. The IT Application Support Analyst is required to work with a variety of technology applications and to keep tables updated. The Clinical Application Support Analyst will work in conjunction with clinicians to design and implement functional solutions to clinical problems including the creation of order sets and other information needs. Continued learning and growth is required in this demanding and rewarding position. Accepts additional responsibilities as assigned. On-call participation required. Performs duties independently with minimal supervision, operating from specific and definite direction and instructions. Decisions are of routine or critical nature, made within prescribed operating guidelines, policies, and procedures. Is responsible for performing job duties within institutional guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Associates Degree required.
• Minimum of two years experience with EMR and other hospital applications required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to listen well to others required.
• Well organized with proven ability to manage time and meet deadlines required.
• Must be organized, proactive, possess strong follow-up skills and work well under pressure.
• Ability to analyze workflow, develop reproducible processes in collaboration with others, and document processes using a variety of methods.
• PC Skills required.
