Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- No Nights | No Weekends
- Full-Time (Evening Shift - 10 AM - 6 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise children and ensure safety in compliance with Illinois DCFS regulations
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities and lessons
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment
- Complete required 15 annual training hours
- Follow all center policies and procedures
Qualifications (DCFS Requirements)
Candidates must meet one of the following:
- 60 semester hours (90 quarter hours) of college credit, including 6 semester hours in child development
OR - 1 year (1,560 hours) of childcare experience 30 semester hours of college credit (including child development coursework)
OR - Completion of a DCFS-approved credential program
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and active movement
