Employment Type: Full time / 36 hours weekly
Shift: Rotating; 7am – 7pm or 7pm – 7 am
Location: Germantown, Maryland
Position Purpose
This position is for New Graduate Nurses interested in beginning their career at Holy Cross Germantown Hospital. We are seeking exceptional talent who is ready to blossom their careers with an exceptional health care system!

Our graduate nurse program is comprised of four complementary components:

- Hospital & Nursing Orientation: a multi-day introduction to our organization
- Internships: 9 to 13-week competency-based orientation program
- Mentorship: 3 month peer support program
- Nurse Residency Program: 12-month professional development coursework

Required
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree required (BSN preferred). Note, if the BSN or MSN degree is not present on hire, the employee must sign an agreement to obtain a within a specific time frame.
- Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association).
- Superb interpersonal, communication and collaboration abilities.
- Competency in electronic patient management systems.
- BSN or MSN preferred
